So What Does the "T" Stand for in Say a "T8" LED Tube
“T” stands for “Tube”, the figure behind the “T” represents the diameter of tube.
T8 means 8*T, the length for single T is 1/8 inch, 1 inch equals to 25.4mm, so the length for single T is 3.175mm
The diameter for a T12 is: (12/8)*25.4=38.1mm
The diameter for a T10 is: (10/8)*25.4=31.8mm
Some T10 tubes include: (8w-600mm; 12w-900mm; 15w-1200mm; 20w-1500mm; 32w-2400mm)
The diameter for a T8 is: (8/8)*25.4=25.4mm(1inch). Mark: at the width: 39mm height: 52mm.
Some T8 tubes include: (8w-600mm; 12w-900mm; 18w-1200mm; 24w-1500mm)
The diameter for a T5 is: (5/8)*25.4=16mm Mark: at the width: 23.5mm height: 39mm.
Some T5 tubes include: (8w-600mm; 16w-1200mm; 22w-1500mm)
The diameter for a T4 is: (4/8)*25.4=12.7mm.Mark:at the width:21mm height:32mm
The diameter for a T3.5 is: (3.5/8)*25.4=11.1mm
The diameter for a T2 is: (2/8)*25.4=6.4mm
Hope that this helps answer that question.
